Printer Bridge Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 10, 2026

Printer Bridge is published by Generous Corp. If you have privacy questions, contact Daniel Raffel at [email protected].

Summary

Printer Bridge is designed to help people keep older printers useful for longer. We do not want or need your personal data to do that.

Printer Bridge does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, profiling, or data resale.

What We Collect

We do not collect personal information from you.

Printer Bridge does not send your printer names, print jobs, documents, device identifiers, or network activity to Generous Corp.

How The App Works

Printer Bridge runs locally on your Mac. It inspects locally installed printer queues, advertises compatible printers on your local network, and forwards print jobs to your Mac's existing print system.

Some network communication is required for AirPrint and local printing to work, but that traffic stays between your devices, your Mac, and your printer unless you intentionally use another service.

Data Storage

Printer Bridge stores configuration on your Mac, such as which printers you have enabled and any custom AirPrint names you choose. That configuration is stored locally and is not uploaded to us.

Third Parties

Printer Bridge relies on Apple and macOS system components such as CUPS, Bonjour, and the App Store. Those platforms and services may have their own privacy terms.

Children's Privacy

Printer Bridge is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version with the app or repository.
